Carolyn enjoyed music, dancing, baking and laughing, especially with her 3 nephews. She loved dogs and playing bingo.
Carolyn grew up in Williston Park, New York, before moving to Ridgefield, Connecticut, later settling in New Milford. She graduated from the University of Connecticut.
A stroke in 2007 left Carolyn with severely limited movement. But she fought to overcome her limitations and learned to speak again, with the help of speech therapists at the Stroke Comeback Center of Vienna, Virginia.
Carolyn is survived by her brother Denis, sisters Mary Ellen, Margaret and Liz, brothers in law Paul, Charlie and Nick, and nephews Will, Nicholas and Charlie.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday February 4 at 10am at St. Mary Parish in Ridgefield, where she will be laid to rest alongside her loving parents Margaret and William.
In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted at strokecomebackcenter.org.
