Colonel William “Bill” R. Rudder Jr., 84 of Bryant passed away September 30, 2023. He was born July 24, 1939 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Coretta and William Rudder Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Glenda M. Rudder.
He is survived by two daughters, Nanci Kelley and husband John of Bryant, and Frances Sanders of Lonsdale; four grandchildren Megan (Branden) Broadway, Summer (Derrick) Marshall, William Clay Kelley of South Korea, and Cory (Garrett) Isom; seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
“The Colonel” served his country in the Navy, as well as, the National Guard. He was called to duty for Operation Desert Storm in 1990 where he served with the 148th Evacuation Hospital. He was a retired CRNA after 45 years of service at the VA Medical Systems. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryant for over 50 years.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM, October 9, 2023, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
