Wayne Thomas Hogue, 64, of Mabelvale passed away December 18, 2024. He was born December 19, 1959 in Little Rock to the late Zilly (Pollock) and James Thomas Hogue. In addition to his parents, Wayne was welcomed into Heaven by his siblings, Charlie Hogue and Ann Lattin; and sister-in-law, Lila Mace.
Wayne retired after seven years of service with ARDOT and was an active member of the First Pentecostal Church of Benton. Above all, he was devoted to God and his family, especially his grandchildren. In his free time, Wayne enjoyed working in his shop, creating jewelry, and woodworking with his brothers. He also took pleasure in spending time on his tractor, as well as deer hunting and fishing. Known for his laid-back nature, Wayne could be quite determined when he set his mind to something.
Those left to cherish the memories of Wayne include his wife of 43 years, Michelle Hogue; son, James (Charmagne) Hogue; bonus son, Ricky (Shay) Crowson; grandchildren, Reyan, Makennah, Blaise, Kolbe, and Jayce; siblings, Jimmy (Linda) Hogue, Linda (Tommy) Byford, Ricky (Anita) Hogue, Troy (Cindy) Hogue, and Larry (Joy) Hogue; brothers-in-law, Russell, Daniel (Brenda), David (Heather), and Jack (Teresa) Mace; as well as several extended family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 23, 2024 at Pinecrest Funeral Home. Wayne will be laid to rest following the service at Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be the evening prior, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the funeral home.
