Born December 12, 1969 in Little Rock, AR the son of B. Ray Bell and Linda Hall Bell Graduated from Joe T Robinson High School in 1988 where he played football and basketball. He was accepted into the University of Arkansas Fayetteville in 1989 where he graduated with a BA degree in Business Administration in 1992. He was a very social person and pledged Sigma Chi fraternity as a freshman where he made many lifelong friends.
After graduating from U of A, Ray joined his mother at the family business Balfour Printing Co. and in 2001 bought the company from her and they continued to work together until 2010. During his professional career he was a member of Sales and Marketing Executives Association and numerous other business and community related organizations.
His two favorite activities as an adult were playing basketball at the Little Rock Athletic Club and walking on the Arkansas River trails.
Ray loved his family immensely especially his daughter Caroline who was the light of his life. He never missed a chance to get together with family and would always be found rough housing or playing any kind of sport with Candler and his nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father B. Ray Bell, his grandparents Charles and Audene Hall of Roland, AR, and his grandparents Loal and Richa Dean Bell of Little Rock, AR.
Survived by daughter Caroline E. Bell of Fayetteville, AR, step son Candler McCollum of Little Rock, AR mother Linda Hall Bell Stanford of Roland, AR, sister Hollie Bell Kennedy and husband Bob of Maumelle, AR, and 4 nephews Michael Ray Badley of Yellville, AR, Hayden Anderson of Maumelle, AR, Tyler Anderson and wife Coryn of Van Buren AR, and Andrew Anderson of Maumelle, AR.
A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19th at Pinecrest Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Truby presiding. Interment will follow in the Garden of the Cross section of Pinecrest Memorial Park.
There will be a reception following the service at the home of Linda Bell Stanford 19515 Hwy 300, Roland, AR 72135.
