Michael Chambers

Michael Rex Chambers, 74, of Little Rock passed away July 2, 2023 in his residence. Michael was born on September 24, 1948 in Little Rock to Thomas and Dovie (Thorn) Chambers. He was a member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church. Michael was mechanically inclined, he like to fix things. He enjoyed his firearms. He loved his grandchildren ad great grandchildren, dogs, especially his German Shepherd Sergeant.

Michael is survived by his son Michael A. Chambers (Melissa) of Mayflower, his daughters Melissa Chambers (fiancé’ Lucky) of Mayflower, Amanda Garrett of Little Rock, four grandchildren, Ann Grace, Haley, Nathaniel and Ashlyn, three great grandchildren Kristen, Kali and Westyn , a brother Darrell Chambers (Susan) of Heber Springs, six sisters Judy Brewster, Delois Alexander, Carolyn Chambers all of Damascus, Glenita Jean Smith, Elaine Chambers of Sherwood, and Francis Chambers of Texas.

His was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Tommy, Aaron, and Benny Chambers, and his sister Dee Ann Gill.

In keeping with Michael’s wishes, cremation was chosen, and no services are planned at this time. His family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Quality Living Center in Little Rock, 3925 Asher Ave, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.
