THE HEALING

In a previous eternity,
Long before we were here;
Our Maker knew our appointed hour,
Our sweetest moment; oh, so dear…

The One who knows the stars by name,
And our numbers of strands of hair;
Certainly knows our time on Earth,
As sure as He made the sea and air.

When our assignment is completed,
Our mission here fulfilled;
Our eternal Heavenly harvest awaits,
A plentiful, bountiful, beautiful yield.

One can only imagine,
The beautiful streets of gold;
Jasper, sapphire, chalcedony,
Waiting there since days of old.

Yet we are not to know at all,
When this time shall be;
Faith should never leave us,
No matter what the outlook be.

Either way there is a healing,
Each way we shall be renewed;
Either as life eternal,
Or perhaps more time to us is due.

Prayerfully waiting for His will,
Knowing He knows what’s best;
Knowing each way a blessing,
Victory being a believer’s quest.  

No matter what the doctor says,
No matter how much pain;
The Great Physician is there for us,
Comforting us, never in vain.

He will hold us like a baby,
His arms around so near;
Bringing peace and serenity,
 Removing doubt, removing fear.

For fear does not belong,
Anywhere close to faith;
Miracles, signs and wonders,
Are possible if we patiently wait.

Let us not forget the miracles,
Of brokenhearted, sick and lame;
That is why we call him Savior,
Precisely, that is why He came.

He came to deliver us,
Those of us oppressed;
To spread peace and joy and love,
Plus other truths we confess.

When two or more are gathered,
Asking in His name;
Fervent prayers of righteous men,
Availeth much time and again.

What a wonderful, gracious Lord is He,
Who takes such gentle care;
Soothing us along the way,
Our pain and suffering He does bear.

There is one thing that never ends,
It in our heart remains;
Hope always springs eternal,
Echoing a sweet refrain.

And the roll is called up yonder;
Treasure precious moments here,

‘Till we’re caught up in the rapture,
Ascending together home;
Let us break the bread together,
‘Till we’re known as we are known.

My prayer for you today,
An Earthly healing be bestowed;
Bringing health and love to you,
As our Heavenly Father surely knows.

She was always such a strong believer and Christian and reared her children accordingly.  She loved her husband and children greatly and served them well all of her life.   A very hard worker, she was very adaptable. She had a beautiful home in Leawood in the city of Little Rock  and made the change to country life at the Flying W Ranch with grace and ease and then back to her new home in Little Rock. Her last days at The House of Three back to Leawood seemed fitting.  I will always remember her kindness to me when I was at her home.  She was a good cook, knew all about nutrition, and was health-conscious in preparing meals for her family. She had a gentle spirit and beautiful smile. I thank God for her long and fruitful life.

My deepest condolences  to Ms. Lucy's family. She will be missed and always remembered by me. I was her caregiver for a short time and loved her from the beginning . A wonderful lady. I learned alot about God and His love through her and her family and will always be grateful. Lucy loved animals and I hope God has a zoo full of creatures that she can love on. For then she'll be right at home in Heaven.
