Linda Kaye Ball, 76, of Cabot, Arkansas transitioned to her heavenly home with our Lord in the early morning hours of Thursday, August 3, 2023. SHe was born February 24, 1947 in Clarendon, Arkansas to Thomas and Eugenia (Bunker) Oldham. She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ and a retired secretary for the State of Arkansas. She was a caregiver for her late husband for the last 14 years of his life.
Linda's whole world revolved around her three grandchildren who called her Maw-Maw. She loved being in the stand for all their activities. Maw-Maw seldom missed an event that Dylan, Faith and Ashlynn were involved in. She loved having the kis spend the night with her and watching movies with them and of course taking them shopping. Christmas was always a HUGE event at Maw-Maw's house. She was the best Maw-Maw.
Linda loved her Northside Church family and enjoyed being with them for Bible class and worship each Sunday. Occasionally she would sneak away to Cabot on Sunday to hear Chuck preach.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of over 40 years, Charles H. Ball and brothers Talmadge Oldham and Ralph Oldham, and sisters Joyce Shawler and Barbara Burton.
Linda is survived by her son Chuck and his wife Kristy of Cabot and three grandchildren Dylan Ball of Ward, Arkansas, Faith Smith and her husband Andy also of Ward and Ashlynn Ball of Cabot, brother Doyle Oldham and wife Joan of Altamonte Springs, Florida, sister Margaret Simpson of Clarendon, Arkansas and a host of other family members and friends.
