Laura will be deeply missed by a multitude of family and friends. She was well known for her joyful personality and her loud, genuine, contagious laugh. She was so full of love – our sunshine. Laura always saw the best in people and refused to give up on anyone. She always rooted for the underdog and wanted everyone to have a friend. If she loved you, she loved you big. If you ever wronged her, don’t worry, it was quickly forgotten. If you were her friend, you were probably referred to as her best friend. She offered no judgement toward anyone and just accepted people exactly as they were. She was not capable of holding a grudge. She loved art, music and nature. She was so artistically gifted. She also loved her rescue dog, Atlas, and believed he really rescued her. She loved her family beyond words and had a special place in her heart for her grandparents and her brothers. Laura had special relationships with her husband's family, Sharon Danford, Wendy Holland and Willa Dean Hall. She had so many friends that loved her deeply.
She was planning to return to school to become a counselor. She thought it was her calling. She wanted to help others through their hardest times. She didn’t realize that she had already helped so many. She was heartbroken by the loss of her husband and fought hard through that grief.
