I have lost a lot in my life,from the time I came into this world I lost my Mom and never really knew my dad.in and out of foster care all my life. one day God put this special woman in my life who later became like the mom I never had. I did not get to spend much time as i wish I would of but I always knew she was there. she was the only one ever in my life that claim me as her own and even called me son that meant the world to me due to never having a family.God even allowed her and my real mom to have the same birthday..so the day I would of gave my mom a birthday card i was still able to do so..I will miss this woman so much and I loved her even more.

Kay will always be a special person to me as she always had a smile and a kind word. She was a gracious hostess to me in  her home and shared the love of the Lord always. I am so thankful to know Kay and her family. My love to you all.

I will miss listening to all of your stories. I will miss having tacos at your house on Christmas Eve with your Charlie Brown Christmas tree. I will miss your AWESOME ice cream pie. I will miss your voice and the touch of your hand. I will miss you, Grandma Kay. I will do my best to keep your memory alive. Thank you for being the best G-Ma ever! I love you very much.

Mark, Lesa and Family - I am so sorry about the loss of your mom.  I know she was a special lady and her love for the Lord and her faith touched many people.  Your family will be in my prayers in the days and weeks ahead.

You were a great friend and you will be truly missed.

Grandma Kay, my life has certainly turned out very well because you were part of it.  You were the one who taught me of the importance of forgiveness and how I could have a relationship with God's Holy Spirit.  Your love for God was evident in everything you did.  I believe that I am who I am today not only because my parents raised me "right," but you prayed me to it.  Paul wrote in Phillippians 1:21, "For to me, to live is Christ, to die is gain."  You certainly exemplified Christ, and I know without a doubt that you have gained the promise of heaven.  I love you grandma.

Miss Kay I cannot put into words how loved you are. I am truly blessed God put you and your family in my life. If I had to think of one person who truly showed me the love of Jesus and what it meant to not only believe but have a personal relationship with Him, it would be you. You are one of the wisest people I have ever known and I am thankful I was blessed to be loved by you back. I remember last year I was going through a really hard struggle in my life, and there you were in the hospital fighting your own battle but instead you listened to me, gave me advice, and prayed for me. That is the kind of person you are. You are beautiful and selfless and have left a legacy. We will remember your voice, love, talks, family get togethers at your house, and so many memories. We love you. You will be greatly missed.

You told me once that you were so happy that God saw it fit for us to be in the same family. I thank Him for that too. Because you taught me what it means to be a Christian and to love the Lord, I know I will be in Heaven with you one day. Thank you for always being there when I needed you and for loving me unconditionally. I miss you already Grandma.

When Lesa brought me home to meet you and there you set with those big fussy house shoes on and your hair up In curlers I knew then you were going to be a lot of fun and over the years you were indeed. We will forever miss you and love you but we will rest assured we'll see you again. You were the best in law anyone could hope for you always made fill loved and you knew and understood how much I love you daughter just like you I will forever love her and do my very best to keep her safe. I know you are with the lord now I know you are healthy and whole again so I can only say until we see each other again Ill love and miss you here.

I'm going to miss our talks, and boy, could you talk! Even up until the very end, you always had an interesting story to tell. You were filled with wisdom and experience and I learned a lot from you. I'll always have that. You had love for everyone and everyone is better having known you. You cared so much for people and I'll walk away wanting to be a better person because of that inspiration. Thank you. I love you.

I was so blessed to have you for a mother. Words can't describe how empty our lives will be. I love you so much and I'm happy that you aren't suffering anymore. To know you are in heaven with Jesus, Mamaw, Susan, Uncle  Lee and Ray gives me peace. Until I'm with you again. "I love you Forever, I like you for Always, as long as I'm living, My mother you'll be".

So many memories flood my mind, when I think of this wonderful lady. Kay was like a second mom to me in my younger years and I always looked forward to our visits. She had an insight for people that few are blessed to possess. I could never hide any emotions from her, once she looked in your eyes she could see your heart. She was an encourager, a teacher, a great mom to 3 great kids and will be missed greatly by her grands. Kay's love for her Lord was second to none. She made sure you knew where you were spiritually each time you talked. I can only imagine the "woo hoo" that was heard at those gates, when she entered. Susan and mamaw were there to great her, and I know The Lord told her, well done.,Kay thank you for your friendship, love and years of encouragement you gave me. You will be missed. Love you and look forward to seeing you again some day.

I will so miss our long talks, but I know you are now in your heavenly home.
Your family can take comfort in knowing that now they have a special guardian angel to watch over them.
