Jimmie Lee Stephens, 92, of Bryant passed away March 1, 2024. She was born November 11, 1931 in Nashville, Arkansas to the late James and Marie (Ferguson) Burkhart. In addition to her parents, Jimmie Lee was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, John Stephens; two sisters; and one brother.
Jimmie Lee will be remembered for her devotion not only to her family, but also her friends and church. Blessed with a servant’s heart, Jimmie Lee served in a variety of capacities at the Oak Forest UMC and several Methodist women’s organizations for numerous years. She was also a talented cook and her grandchildren loved any meal she made.
Those left to cherish the memories of Jimmie Lee include her children, Rebecca (Tommy) Moores, Richard Stephens, James Robert (Sherrise) Stephens, and David (Patricia) Stephens; grandchildren, Christi Moores, Emilee (Matt) Stewart, Brandi McElhaney, Justin Stephens, Morgan (Erich) Fouse, Karissa (Robi) McDonald, and Kelsey (Diego) Lozano; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended church family.
The family of Jimmie Lee would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers and doctors that took care of her.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Pinecrest Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, Monday, March 4, 2024 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
