Glenn was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed coaching youth football and baseball when his sons were young. Glenn was a big Trump supporter from the very beginning.
He grew up in the Presbyterian Church in Mena and later moved to Little Rock where he was baptized at Harvey Hicks Memorial. Recently, he was a faithful member of Holland Chapel Baptist Church in Benton.
Glenn worked hard to support his family, usually working more than one job. He worked for Garrison Motor Freight which became Smith Transfer for over 30 years. He had many awards and accomplishments with the company.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Linda Hendricks of Benton, Terry Hale (Sue) of Maumelle, Aunna Yazza (Craig) of Benton, and Jeff Hale (Lorie) of Bryant; grandchildren: Ashley Davis (John), Josh Hendricks (Avery), Scott Hale, Whitney Hale, Grant Yazza (Ashli), Clark Yazza (Jessica), Bryce Yazza (Haley), Carly Grace Yazza, Jeff Hale (Hollie), and Justin Hale; great grandchildren: Allie, Sam, and Remmi Davis; Shaw, Sutton, and Sylvie Hendricks; Liam Glenn Hale; Cohen, Poppy, Cahill, Sloane, and Ruston Yazza; and Ellie Mae Hale; siblings: Herschel Hale (Linda) and Becky Cummings; and his fur baby, Trixie.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Peggy Ratliff Hale; son-in-law, Mike Hendricks; and his parents.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Nick Calaway officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saline Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund or Holland Chapel Youth Ministries.
