Fay Price

Fay Elizabeth Price, age 97, passed away peacefully at Randolph County Nursing Home in Pocahontas, AR on December 30, 2022. Fay was born July 30, 1925 to Fred and Gertrude Emrich near Sardis. She was a longtime resident of Little Rock. Fay was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank and Rayburn Emrich; husband, Wesley Price and sons, Harvey Boggs and Joe Price.

Fay retired from Westinghouse Corporation where she crafted lightbulbs for over 30 years. She enjoyed retirement by spending many hours at her grandchildren’s sporting events and helping to support Carti of Little Rock.

Throughout the years, she and Wes took many cruises and traveled the country in their RV. They loved to camp and play cards and dominoes with their many cherished friends. Fay was a Christian and longtime member of Rosedale Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory four grandchildren, Deshea (Ron) Baxley of Pocahontas, AR Brea Ann (Chad) Bennett of Fayetteville, AR Joe (Tia) Price of Moyock, NC and Erin (Jason) Franks of Bryant, AR as well as 11 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at Pinecrest Funeral Home and Memorial Park on Saturday, January 7 at 1 pm, followed by funeral services at 2 pm.

It was Fay’s wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of a charitable donation to Carti of Little Rock.
