Ellen G “Williams” Ivy, 87, of Little Rock, gained her wings February 17, 2019 at home with her family. She married William aka Dugan D. Ivy Sr, May 13, 1947. They were married 68 years when he passed in 2015. She was born in Lonoke, Arkansas on December 2, 1931 to Henry Grady Williams and Irene “Sewell” Williams.
She worked at LRSD in the cafeteria for many years. She also worked at the National Shirt store in the University Mall. She was employed at Majestic Cleaners on Kavanaugh. She was a lifetime homemaker, Mom and Nanny.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sons, William and Michael Ivy. She leaves behind four daughters, Nancy Ivy of Hensley, AR, Joyce Cash of Little Rock, AR, Karen(Kenneth aka Lucky) Barnes, and Tammy (Patrick aka John or Pete) Hodkin; and of course we have to mention Peanut who was always at her side; she also leaves behind 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 4 great- great grandchildren. Out of 12 children in her family she is now down to five, Grady Williams of Beebe, AR, Paralee Martineau of Lonoke, Ar, Annette Purnell of Cabot, Shirley Morris of Cabot, and Marilyn Franks of Georgia. The family would like to thank the people with Hospice who helped us care for mama.
A Visitation will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m. with Burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
