Service to be held Thursday, July 14th: 9am visitation @ Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander, AR-10am Chapel Service @ Pinecrest Funeral Home and 11am Burial @ Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Betty was born on the 16th of September 1917 in Bellefone, Pa. to Helen and Walter Elder.

Betty was married to Joseph Ballard on September 18, 1942, they were married 52 years. Betty was a housewife, was an avid bridge player, and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ballard, her parents, her brother Tom, son Thomas, and daughter Linda.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Mary Anne (Leonard) Kappel of Baton Rouge, La; Beth Ballard of Benton, AR and a son Robert (Cindy) Ballard of El Dorado, AR; Daughter in law Kathy Ballard of San Diego, CA; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The family of Betty (Grandma) wishes to thank Fox Ridge Assisting Living staffs who loved and took care of her and was family to her.
