Billie Jean Wade, age 91, of Mabelvale, passed away September 23, 2023. She was born February 9, 1932, to the late Martin Lloyd Thomas and Dora Monette “Sis” (Leonard) Thomas in Little Rock. Billie Jean is also preceded in death by three brothers; her sister, and two grandchildren, Jeremy and Justin Tucker.
Billie Jean was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Mabelvale. She loved gardening (she definitely had a green thumb), Bingo, Camping, Fishing and Family.
Billie Jean had three daughters, Debbie Kraft (Bob) of Palm Bay, Florida, Julianne Zimmerman (Ken) of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Mary Tucker (David) of Mabelvale, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation at 1:00 PM, September 28, 2023, at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 Hwy 5 N, Alexander, AR 72002. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, and burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
Billie Jean’s life was a testament to the values of Love, sacrifice, and family. She leaves behind a grateful family who will carry her memory in their hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
