Marlie was born in Regina and raised in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. She joined the Canadian Air Force right after she graduated from high school and retired in 1993 as a Captain. She was posted all over Canada, Virginia USA and for two years in Germany. After retirement she moved to Chilliwack, BC.
She loved traveling, painting, playing golf, enjoying her little dog, Scooter, and spending time with many friends and extended family both locally and across the country.
Marlie was predeceased by her father, Dr. Keith Carberry Wasson, her mother, Margaret Elizabeth Home and her older brother, Keith Home Wasson.
Donations in memory of Margaret Wasson can be made to Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation - renal program; British Columbia Guide Dog Services or the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
