It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce, beloved mother of Norm (Jan), Rob (Cindy), Carol (Rick). She was a proud grandmother of five, great-grandmother of six.
Joyce was predeceased by Norman, the love of her life in 2009; her brothers Ken and Fred and survived by her sister Jen.
Joyce was born in England to George & Edith on August 24, 1930. She immigrated to Canada as a young woman where she met and married Norman and raised her family in Burnaby for 28 years before moving to a small hobby farm in Aldergrove. After Norm’s passing, Joyce moved to Murrayville to be closer to her daughter Carol.
Suffering from dementia, Joyce resided the last four years of her life at Jackman Manor. The family would like to thank all the devoted care givers at Jackman for their tender care of Joyce until her passing.
Joyce will be remembered for her love of family, chocolate and her strong will.
