Originally of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Phyllis was a friend to so many and the mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to a lucky few. So much can be said about her and it would fill volumes, but the most important and enduring is her love of family. She selflessly nurtured her family and husband of almost 55 years through thick and thin and always with love in her heart. Despite having a heavy “rucksack” of taking care of a family and a husband, she managed to enjoy the finer things in life such as golf at Wallace Hills and Lambert Acres and shopping at Wal-Mart, Bath & Body Works and the Yankee Candle store. We will all miss those rounds of golf and precious gifts and those stores may need a few dozen shoppers to fill that market share. Those who knew her realized that she was “one of a kind” and a true angel on earth. Her granddaughter Cassie summed it up best...”My nannie was too good for this world. She was so pure and perfect and always gave love.” Until we meet again...your family will do their best to carry on your legacy and make you proud.
