Charlene Kay Johnson, passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 10, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Kay was born in Maryville on January 13, 1952, to Nelson H. and Johnnie C. Johnson. She was a 1970 graduate of Maryville High School. She trained at UT Hospital to become a Certified Radiology Technician and spent many years working in health care.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents and great-niece Macy Leigh.
She is survived by her sister Kathy (Randy) Goan, and brothers Chris (Julie) and Gary (Donna) Johnson; nieces Lucy and Jessica; nephews Paul, Matthew, Trace, and Cody; great-niece Grac.
Kay was a kind and loving sister, aunt, caregiver and friend. She will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Foothills Transitional Care and Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care that they gave to Kay.
