Mr. Wayne Alan Fillion

Wayne A. Fillion, age 53 of Homer formerly of Farmington Hills passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. He was born in 1958 to Lewis and Barbara (Mattson) Fillion in Redford, Michigan. In 1987 he married Brenda M. Ward who preceded him in death on December 15, 2010.

Prior to the passing of his wife, Wayne was a devoted/loving husband.

He was self-employed as a carpet installer. He loved to golf, especially the Leon Draime golf outing,

hunting, fishing, cutting wood and playing cards and cherished his two daughters.

Father- Lewis Fillion of Farmington Hills

Sister- Sue (Larry) Compton of Shelby

Brothers- Rod (Debbie) Fillion of Mancelona

Lewis Fillion Jr. of Redford

Brad Fillion of Farmington Hills

He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara and wife Brenda.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00P.M. and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224. Funeral Services will be Monday, February 27, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home with Elder Richard Bertchinger officiating. Burial will follow at Fisher Cemetery, Homer, Michigan.
