Scott D. Nystrom

Scott David Jon Nystrom, age 50 passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at his home under the loving care of his family and Heartland Hospice after a very courageous, hard 3 ½ year battle with cancer. Scott was born March 14, 1964 in Mason, MI the son of Earl D. and Nancy (Wright) Nystrom.

He is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Scott was a member of the Moose Lodge #406 in Albion. He loved entertaining and cooking for his family and friends and enjoyed working outside. He was quite a perfectionist with everything, especially his home and his lawn.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Nancy, son, Scott David Jon Nystrom II “David”, daughter, Jessica Cousins, brother, Michael Nystrom and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank close friends, Ruth (Craig) McCullough.

His family will celebrate his life on Friday, October 24, 2014 beginning with visitation at 10:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion with Pastor Walt Nichols Jr. officiating. Burial will take place at King Cemetery, Devereaux Road, Parma, MI.
