Robert Dwight Norton age 66 of Albion passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at Henry Ford Allegiance in Jackson. He was born February 19, 1955 in Albion, Michigan the son of Dwight and June (Shaffer) Norton and they preceded him in death along with one of his cat companions, Rocket.
Robert was employed as a mechanic for Albion College retiring after 36 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and a 15 year member of the Eagles in Albion. Robert loved collecting antique tractors, enjoyed WWII planes, mowing his lawn and hanging out at Cascarelli’s in Albion.
He leaves behind 4 children: Kelly (Rachel) Norton, Brandy Norton, Renee (Todd) McCurdie, Becky Norton, 5 grandchildren: Sophia, Wyatt, Bella, Kyana, David, sister, Sue (Don) Yorkie, brother, Ron Peace, mother of his children, Mary Norton and his 14 year old cat, Tigger.
According to his wishes, cremation will take place and no services are scheduled at this time. The family is being served by J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, Albion.
