Rita Mae Woods

She was born December 29, 1958 to Elvin and Delie (Stalker) Thacker in Albion, Michigan.

Rita was in the nursing field most of her life, she enjoyed gardening, Bingo and spending time

with her family and most of all with her grandchildren.

Rita is survived by her daughters, Trish (Tom) Bennett of Marshall, Christina Solis of Albion;

son, Tommy Solis of Toledo, OH; fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Randi (Cathy) Thacker of Ocala, FL, Patty (Arthur Marlowe) of Albion; Tammy Burchfield of Albion and EJ Thacker of Ocala, FL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ronald, Will and John Paul Thacker.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday December 29, 2017 at 11:00AM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be Friday Dec. 29th at 12:00PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jimmie Collins officiating.

Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Albion.
