home in Olivet. She was born in 1930 to James Archie and Florence “Tokey” Taylor in Laporte, Indiana. Her first marriage was to Sam Friia , then she married Robert Maddux who preceded her in death.
She had worked at the License Bureau for a time then in Insurance before she became a homemaker.
Patricia was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Charlotte and a former member of the St. John’s
Catholic Church in Albion, she was a member of the Leisure Hour, Vivian’s Society of the Albion Elk’s Lodge #1798, Duck Lake Country Club, Ladies Golf and Bridge clubs.

Son- Peter (Mary Jo) Friia of Albion

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son-in-law Marc Culbertson, step-daughter
Karin D. Maddux and a step-son Jimmy Wintermute.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the
J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Mass
will be Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Catholic Church, 1020 Irwin Avenue, Albion with Father Joe Gray officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Albion.
