Michael Whipple

MICHAEL LYNN WHIPPLE, age 65, of Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2021, after a lengthy stay at U of M Hospital. He was born March 16, 1955, in Weston, MI., to Dale and Ruth (Pickering) Whipple.

He attended Sand Creek High School, before moving to W. Palm Beach, FL. On June 9, 2000, he married the love of his life Rose McCutcheon and they celebrated 37 years together. They shared a love of horses, and met at the W. Palm Beach Trotting Center, where he was the Facility Manager. Currently, he was employed at Martinrea in Jonesville, for almost 12 years. Mike loved camping, harness racing, traveling and his family.

He was a great Husband, Brother, Uncle, and friend to many. Always a smile to share, or a wise crack to make you laugh; he will be missed, by all who knew him.

In addition to his Wife, he is survived by siblings, Dorman (Lillian) Whipple, Adrian, Sandra DeMeritt, Sun City, FL, Robert (Terri) Whipple, Adrian, Larry Whipple, Hudson, Richard (Donna) Whipple, Jasper, Joyce (Boyce) Forehand, Adrian, Dale (Rene) Whipple, Jr. Hopkinsville, KY Keith (Ruth) Whipple Adrian, Debbie (Chris) Price, New Zealand.

Cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

Mike had asked that you toast his memory, with a shot of Apple Juice; it was the last thing he drank, in the ICU.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, to assist with medical costs.
