Michael Gene Hamilton

Michael Gene Hamilton, of Albion, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Allegiance Health. He was born February 19, 1979 in Albion, Michigan to Gene and Cindy “Candy”( Barker) Hamilton. Michael married Susan Winklepleck on August 18, 2001 and she survives.

As working man Michael worked for Atlas and Allied Van Line as a packer and mover. He loved to hunt, fish, and liked singing rap freestyle. While Michael’s death was unexpected, the family has taken some comfort in knowing he was an organ donor helping many people with his final gift.

Preceding him in death was his stepdad James Hamilton, 1 Brother Mitch Gardner, Grandfathers: Tom Hamilton, Earnest Barker, Great Grandmother Irene Shadley, and nephew Buddy Ratliff.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 at 4:00pm at the Riverside Baptist Church, 25255 M-60 Homer, MI 49245 with Pastors Jimmy Collins and Thomas A. Hamilton officiating .
