Mark James Manor

Mark James Manor age 72 of Springport, MI passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025 in Jackson surrounded in the love of his family. He was born November 29, 1952 in Jackson the son of David and Jacquiline (Fousie) Manor.

Mark served our country honorably and proudly in the U.S. Marine Corp.

On August 30, 1985, he was united in marriage to Rosa Coblentz in Albion and she survives.

Mark loved life and embraced all it had to offer. He was an avid fisherman, loved sports, especially all Detroit sports, loved making birdhouses, mushroom hunting and gardening. He loved to watch the flowers he planted grow and bloom.

Mark was an accomplished guitar player, playing in a rock & roll band in his younger days and loved to teach his talent to others, especially his family.

Mark was also a hard worker, giving over 40 years to the USPS, starting in Jackson, but transferring to Albion so he could spend more time with his children. He retired in 2022.

In addition to his loving, devoted wife of almost 40 years, Mark leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Willie Jo Manor, Rebecca Manor, James Manor; grandchildren: Degan Manor, Logan Manor; siblings: Rick (Ann) Manor, Pam (Mike Thomas) Manor, Cheryl (Jerry) Brywczynski and George Wunder.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, David Manor and mother and step-father, Jackie and Harvey Wunder.

The family will celebrate Mark’s life on Monday, April 14, 2025 with visitation beginning at 1pm until the time of service at 2pm at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion, MI with Pastor Matt Rohde officiating.

There will be a time for food and fellowship at Springport VFW following the services, 230 Mechanic St., Springport, MI.
