Loren J. Cooper “Coop” age 80 of Albion passed away peacefully in his home under the loving care of his family and Heartland Hospice. He was born July 24, 1940 in Albion the son of Roland and Hilda (Sebastian) Cooper and they precede him in death.
Coop was united in marriage to Suzanne Wallace in Albion on September 26, 1959 and she survives. He also leaves 4 children: Christine (James) Sampson, Penny (Jason) Price, Joseph Cooper, Todd Cooper, sister, Elaine Jones, 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many friends.
Coop was a very fun-loving guy who was well loved and loved being surrounded by his family and friends and his dogs, particularly, Buddy. He also enjoyed old cars and especially loved summer trips in his Mustang Convertible. Being such a social guy, he belonged to many clubs in the area including the Eagles, Moose, Elks, Leisure Hour and always enjoyed his Old Milwaukee Light.
Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, October 26, 2020 from 4-7PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 3PM at Albion Memory Gardens.
