She graduated from Washington Gardner High School. She worked at Marchand Enterprises, Albion Manor for many years, and Albion College Food Services where she became supervisor and retired after 35 years. She also did catering for many peoples functions and put on many family gatherings throughout the years.
Linda was small but mighty. She was very strong and independent. She was giving, loving, hardworking, and truly loved the Lord and her family and friends. She loved cooking, gardening, decorating, and went on several cruises.
Linda is survived by her sisters; Ilene (Ron) Mahan of Texas, Johnni (Russell) Henson of Albion, Cheri (Chris) Shaffer of Taylor, Lawanda (Ted) Cole of Vandercook Lake, Deborah Miller of Wyoming; sisters-in-law, Betty Sipe and Patti Shaffer, and brother, Larry Sipe of Springport; family care givers, Colleen (Robert) Day and family, and Milleena (Tyler) Kimber and family; many nieces, nephews, as well as, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by her kitty, her baby, Buddy, who was always at her side.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mildred Shaffer; father, Art Sipe; sisters, Judy Otto, Patty Shaffer, Gerry Sipe, and Betty Lou Bridger, brothers; Jimmy Shaffer, Paul Sipe, and Joe Shaffer.
Services will be held at Network Family Church, 13600 28 Mile Rd., Albion, MI 49224, on April 15, 2025. Visitation will be at 12:00PM and Memorial Service at 1:00PM with a luncheon following the service at the church. A dish to pass is welcome.
