Leslie Ellen (Knickerbocker) Baker, age 64 of Springport, formerly of Albion, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Hospice House in Jackson, Michigan. She was born in 1949 to William and Dorothy Knickerbocker in Albion, Michigan.
Leslie worked for 20 years for Marshall Vision Services. She enjoyed traveling (especially to the Great Lakes and Harrisville, Michigan), classical music, playing the organ and animals. She also had a keen sense of humor that she shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Gregg Knight, daughter Gina Vasquez, granddaughters Mariah Vasquez and Zara Walters; Two sisters: Paula Knickerbocker of Oregon, Cynthia and Larry Scott of California; Nieces: Elizabeth and Julia Nicholls and Nephews: Lawrence and Aaron Scott; One surviving aunt, Margaret Yonnick and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Baker, sister Suzanne Knickerbocker, granddaughter Anisa Vasquez, and first husband, John Knight.
According to her wishes, cremation will take place and no visitation or services will take place at this time.
