Buck was an avid race fan. He attended the Indianapolis 500 every year for over 50 years. He also enjoyed ice fishing on Duck Lake. He graduated from Albion High School and continued his education at Albion College where he received Summa Cum Laude honors.
He worked most of his life in manufacturing as an I.T. manager at Albion Malleable and Union Steel. After his career in I.T., Buck went on to work as an Insurance Salesman at Prudential.
Buck is survived by his children, Mark Ketchum and Kimberly (Troy) Cole; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Kathy and Christopher Fyffe.
Buck is preceded in death by his parents, Allan Ketchum and Marjorie Ketchum-Bernward, and his half-sister, Rebecca Poe.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Buck on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Cascarelli’s in Albion, 116 S. Superior St., Albion, MI, 49224.
