Joshua Christopher Konkle age 44 of Albion passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born April 28, 1975 in Jackson, MI, the son of Lin and Sharon (Kidder) Konkle. He was a 1993 graduate of Litchfield High School and was employed with Clariant Corporation in Albion for roughly 18 years.
Joshua is survived by daughter Alysa Gilman, age 21, former spouse Angie Konkle and their children Dylan Konkle, age 20, daughter Jaylin Konkle, age 13. He also leaves both parents, father, Lin (Karla) Konkle, Mother, Sharon (Tim) Kidder, two brothers, Nathan Konkle and Levi (Sarah) Konkle and three step-sisters, Brook Cuatt, Michelle Hall and Kari Kidder McQuown. Josh is also survived by Aunts, Laura Konkle, Kathi Konkle, Kimmy Konkle and several uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are sister, Jesemy Konkle in 2002 and grandparents Ted and Joanne Konkle in 2018, Grandfather William Collier in 2015 and Norma Collier in 1994.
Joshua had a love for Classic Hot Rods and especially loved his 1990 Ford Mustang Convertible. He also enjoyed fishing, although he hated the taste of them. Josh enjoyed spending his summers at their family cottage at Duck Lake. He was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan and UofM football fan. He was a very talented handyman who loved working on cars and could fix almost anything. But his greatest love was his children, family and friends and spending time with them.
An urn burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Albion on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 12 Noon officiated by Deacon Ken Snyder followed by a Celebration of Life immediately after at the Albion Moose Lodge #406, 13387 29 Mile Rd., Albion, MI.
