Helen F Sheldon

Helen Fay Sheldon, age 77 of Marshall passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Medilodge of Marshall. She was born October 5, 1941 in Rensselaer, Indiana the daughter of Edgar and Nancy (Kilgore) Howard. She married Ralph Leroy Sheldon and he preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Charles Dillon, Carl Dillon, Elmer Dillon, Billy Howard, Bob Howard, Carol Collins and Ethel Dillon.

Helen was former owner of the Royal Café in Albion where she worked when she was young before becoming owner later. She had a big heart and would help anyone with whatever she could. She loved her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed gardening, laying by the pool and loved animals.

Helen is survived by 2 sisters, Lillie Sheldon and Irene (A.J. Fox) Russell, many nieces and nephews and Ralph’s daughters, Marsha and Ann.

Services to celebrate Helen’s life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 beginning with visitation at 1PM followed by services at 2PM with Pastor Allen Henson officiating at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion. She will be laid to rest immediately following in Rice Creek Cemetery.
