its already two years since you been with the Lord, time does fly , I know that someday I see you again. I know you are playing your piano up in Heaven and enjoying the presence of our God. Amen

Felix was my classmate and fellow graduate of Tolleston High School class of 1968.  He was kind, intelligent and so very, very talented.  I am sorry to have just learn of his passing.  It was a shock even though I knew he was ill.  He sometimes alluded to health struggles on Face Book. I would pray for him and will say a prayer of thanks now that he is free of pain and the strife that life can somtimes bring.  It is a comfort knowing that he is reunited with his mother and father and in the presence of our Heavenly Father.  Rest in Peace, Felix. You are missed, my friend.

Felix and I attended school together at Froebel and reconnected over facebook.i tried to give him encouraging words when he informed me of his illness. I was very sorry to hear of his passing Sunday and regret getting to say my last good bye at his memorial.rih my friend for your reward is in heaven.glad I had a chance to reconnect.

I was very happy we had an opportunity to get reacquainted after almost 40 years. I have always respected your musical talent and your humor will be missed. Rest in peace!

WOW !!! Although I was not aware of the call from God, he called your name and you answered.  I surely hate to say good now, but I must say bye to you for now. We shall meet again on the other shore God Willing...Noble Dennie, Pastor of the New Testament Church of Jesus Christ.  As I went through and viewed my pages I came across this bit of disappointing news...We met at Tolleston High School in the 1960's and played music together, what a great musician, what a Great lost to our community! Polly, I am sorry for the loss of Felix Sr.  know that God will comfort you and the family through this time.  I still remember him loading up his equipment on Pennsylvania Street and bowing his head when he speak.

I'm going to miss my former music teacher. He was a great friend and inspiration. He taught me how to play by ear and how to read charts. I groove on recordings and concerts now because of Felix.

I am praying for you all. Felix was such a gentle person. I remember when he played piano for The Church of Gary Covenant Church. I would always say I couldn't sing, and he would tell me, "If you can talk, then you can sing." I thought that was so sweet of him to try to encourage me. God rest your soul; you are free.

Felix Scott was very instrumental in my development as musician and entertainer. I'm going to miss his friendship and patience he had with me in teaching me piano and organ.  We lost touch when I graduated high school but reconnected through social media. Thank you Felix.....you taught me how to jam.

I have lost my cousin who was like an older brother to me.  He is a dear relative to our family. We will miss Felix Jr. aka (Bug)!  Our faith in God will continue to sustain us as we will celebrate the life of Felix Jr. on this Saturday March 14, 2015 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Zion Progressive Cathedral International Church of Gary, 1169 Connecticut Street, Gary, IN.  We are grateful to all who are able to attend. Thank you for your prayers and condolences. God Bless You.

Felix, the battle is over.   May God bless those whom you loved and cared for you and those to whom you did likewise.  Free at last free at last, thank God almighty you are free at last.   There is indeed rest for the weary, and my prayer is that you have truly found rest.  The last song you sang at rehearsal and was teaching was "Your grace and mercy"  and grace and mercy has brought you through.
