Eugene "Curly" K Boehlke Sr.

Eugene "Curly" Kenneth Boehlke, Sr age 88 of Albion passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan. He was born November 23, 1928 to August F. and Lina (Collmenter) Boehlke in Albion, Michigan.

Eugene was a Postal Carrier for the U.S. Post Office, farmer/firefighter; a bus driver for the Albion Public Schools and Parma Township Supervisor. He was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ in Albion.

Eugene is survived by:

Brothers- Clifford Boehlke (Deceased) Robert Boehlke (Deceased) Donald Boehlke

Children- June (Larry) Yates, Patricia (Richard) Kosky, Eugene (Robin) Boehlke, David (Louise) Boehlke

Grandchildren- Larry Sharpe, Veronica Sharpe, Corinna LaRoche, Nickolas LaRoche, Kylan Boehlke, Lindsey Boehlke, Lea Boehlke, Jennifer Kosky

Great Grandchildren- Amber Sharpe, Lorna Sharpe, Cary Sharpe, Jacob Sharpe, Quincie Cheeney, Tayt VanOstran, Sarah Prado, Madison Record, Matthew Record

Great Great Grandchildren- Evelyn Goldsmith, Macee Goldsmith, Theodore Sharpe, Hazel Sharpe

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, December 2, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 3rd at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Gareld Boehlke officiating. Visitation starting at 12:00PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Wright Cemetery in Albion.
