Ellrie J Lack

Ellrie Johnson Lack, age 88 of Albion, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was born in 1923 to Wade and Melissa Frazier in Floyd County, Kentucky. She was first married to James B. Johnson who preceded her in death in 1979, she then married Walter Lack who preceded her in death in 2007.

Ellrie had worked at Cartwright & Merritts Shoe Stores. She was a member of Grace Freewill Baptist

Church. She enjoyed cooking, family dinners and her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mark S. (Patti) Johnson of Battle Creek

Carl Frazier of Battle Creek

She was preceded in death by her parents, son James W., sister Ora Lee Dillion and brothers Homer and Kenneth Frazier.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be

Thursday, February 2, at 1:30PM, at the funeral home with Pastor Earl Martin officiating. Burial will be at Cook’s Prarie Cemetery, Clarendon Township, Michigan.
