Elaine R Jones

Elaine Married Donald Jones Sr. on July 18th, 1959. They were married for over 50 years until his passing in 2013.

Elaine was a graduate of Washington Gardner HIGH School and worked at Corning Glass works for over 20 years and was also employed at Warren Scherer and Reed Plastics.

Elaine is survived by 2 daughters: Janet (Rick) Mulkey, Dawn (Dave) Soltis, 1 son: Donald (Mary) Jones Jr., 6 grandchildren: Ricky (Sara) Mulkey, Joedy (Scott) Brown, Danny (Angie) Collier. Heather (Chris) Albert, Brandin Kopulos, Jason Jones, 7 great-grandchildren: Donovan Mulkey, Scotty Brown, Cristian Brown, Nick Collier, Olivia Collier, Caidan Albert, Alexis Albert, 3 step-grandchildren: Pete (Jill) Weicht, Jake (Christina) Weicht, Shawna (James) Mulkey, 6 step-great-grandchildren: River Weicht, Harper Weicht, James Mulkey Jr., William Mulkey, Kaylee Mulkey, Lilly Weicht.

Everyone who knew Elaine knew her love of the lottery and eating BREAKFAST at the 115 Truck Stop and reading the Battle Creek Enquirer. She spent many years camping at Potawatomie Campground, loved playing cards, bingo and dominoes.

Elaine bowled for many years with her daughters and 3 close friends on a Wednesday night league.

Former member of Ladies Eagles. She and her husband loved spending the winter in Florida at Little Charlie Creek.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don Jones Sr., her parents Joe and Sally Cooper and her brother, Loren Cooper.

Funeral services will be held at J. Kevin. Tidd funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr, Albion, January. 3, 2024 with visitation from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM followed by interment in Albion Memory Gardens, Albion with Pastor Allen Henson officiating.
