She was received into the loving arms of friends and family the evening of May 18, 2023, and now takes her place amongst the ancestors.
She is already greatly missed❤️.
Dee was born December 26, 1944, in Manhattan, New York to John and Evelyn Gamble. As a young child the small family moved and came to reside in Albion, Michigan where she became the eldest of 5 children.
Dee graduated from Albion High School c/o 1963 and attended Kellogg Community College for a few semesters. She returned to school later in life and earned her degree in accounting from Davenport College in June of 1998.
Dee married the late Norman Donald Dudley Jr in Dec of 1964. After a short military life in Germany, they settled and raised their family in Battle Creek. In 1973 Dee and Don join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to which she remained a devout member. She enjoyed being a den mother, a member of the church bowling league, Primary president, stake missionary and working in the family history library. She also enjoyed road trips, her children and grandchildren's various activities and fellowshipping with friends and church members. She was a champion for doing the right thing.
Dee and her family were very well known as being part of the community. She coached little league Girls’ softball in the Level Park Community, winning the sportsmanship award each year. She worked for the Battle Creek Public School system for many years, managed Pizza Hut restaurants in Battle Creek and Marshall, MI until she moved to Saginaw, MI and lived with her youngest son and his family. While in Saginaw, Dee managed the Catherine's clothing store until she retired. She then worked as a substitute teacher for the Saginaw Public School system and Saginaw Intermediate School system and worked seasonally for HR Block.
Later in life Dee became a resident of West Valley City, Utah, and Gilbert Arizona where each of her children assisted in her home health care.
Dee progresses into the next life to watch over her children:
Eric (Cassie) Dudley of Farmington, UT, Jacquelyn Dudley of Gilbert, AZ Karyn Dudley of Lubbock, Tx and Marc (Sonya) Dudley of Eads, TN, Her only sister Ethel (Robert) Holt of Albion, Brothers James (LaTonya) Gamble of Jackson and Larry (Christine) Gamble of Albion, Sister in Love Cristeta Dudley of Tagum City, Mindanao Philippines.
She is now a guardian over her 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grand daughters, 3 Nieces, 8 nephews, a host of cousins, friends and other family members.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Grandson Enam D Dudley, Niece Judith E Dodds, Nephew Jason E. Dodds, Brother John Gamble, Brother in Love James R Dudley and her eternal ancestral line.
We celebrate the life she lived and the Christ-like example she leaves behind.
Expressions of gratitude for Silverton Community Care (Salt Lake City, UT), Hospice for Utah (Salt Lake City, UT), Hospice of the Valley (Phoenix, Az) and the many friends and family who volunteered their time and love for her care.

Services will be held on Saturday June 3rd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1312 Capital Ave SW Battle Creek, Michigan 49015.
Public Viewing at 10:00 am to 10:45 am; Funeral to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Albion Memory Gardens 26905 B-Drive S Albion, MI 49224
