Dennis Harold Wint

Dennis Harold Wint, age 61, of Homer, Michigan, passed away on March 17, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 30, 1963, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to Darris and Cheryl (Smith) Wint.

Dennis had a great sense of humor. He spent his free time with his grandkids, building Legos, singing karaoke (Pink Floyd was his favorite), and riding motorcycles. He took great pride in taking care of his mother and maintaining her property. Dennis was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors.

He served his country for four years with the United States Air Force working as a missile maintenance specialist, spending the last two years in Germany. Dennis went on to work for AT&T for 25 years where he retired. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling.

Dennis is survived by his children: Samantha (Dustin), Allison (Ryan), Austin, Jack (Gaia), Raymond, Selina (Joshua), and Savannah (Daejion); his mother, Cheryl Wint; sister, Lisa (Ron) Illi; grandchildren, Lilly, Dalton, Sevyn, and Za’Kai; his special buddy, Chip Tompkins; and his nieces, Katherine (Stephen) Subu, Lauren (Alek) Hendrickson, and Audrey Illi.

He is preceded in death by his father, Darris Wint and his grandparents, James and Rachel Wint and Virgil and Ethel Smith.

Services for Dennis will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025. Visitation will take place from 12:00pm - 1:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00pm at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224.
