Charles had a great sense of humor. He also liked to win at the game, Rook. He was an avid gardener and loved to share his crops. He spent his career at Hayes Albion where he retired after 40 years.
He loved visiting with family and friends. Charles loved going to Turkeyville and Hillsdale on Saturdays, searching for the elusive coin, knife, or antique. He would then stop at Walmart for garlic bologna and Little Debbie snack cakes. He looked forward to 3:00PM every day when his brother, Bill, would call and they would discuss anything and everything from the price of gold or world events. They would usually wind down talking about some good ole boys from down home to Westerns they have seen many times. Charles would always end his calls with, “I love you, and I’ll be seeing you soon”.
He is survived by his brothers, Bill Bryant of Kendallville, IN and Keith Bryant of Auburn, IN; sister, Geneva Mosley of Kendallville, IN; as well as, many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Maydean Bryant; brothers, Raymond, Edgar, Earl, Fred, and Tommy Bryant; and sister, Jeanette Hall.
