Alex Anthony Shepherd

The only child to Richard Shepherd and Vickie Saldana, both of Albion, Michigan. Alex studied at Albion Public Schools, completing his senior year at Marshall High School, Class of 2011.

Alex was a lifelong resident of Albion. Growing up he became very technical. At the age of two, he was able to take things apart with a screwdriver and putting them back together. He joined t-ball then baseball, as well as, basketball. He spent his time video gaming. At a young age, he also took up skateboarding and took enjoyment learning tricks on his board and the freedom it brought.

As he got older, everything turned to music; mastering the piano, guitar, and the acoustic, learning all of these on his own. He loved making beats and becoming a digital producer to his own born hero on YouTube and other channels. He took pride in his work, always connecting his listeners.

Alex had a special pet growing up, his cat Yoshi, their bond was inseparable.

Alex leaves behind his parents, Richard Shepherd and Vickie Saldana, both of Albion, MI; paternal grandfather, Sam Shepherd of Homer, MI; maternal grandmother, Elvira Saldana of Albion, MI; aunt and uncle, Alfredo and Annette Filoteo of Albion, MI: aunt, Barb Calhoun of Tekonsha, MI; uncle, Mike Shepherd of Albion, MI; he comes from a large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lazaro Saldana and paternal grandmother, Fannie Bell Shepherd.

The family will be having private services.
