Thomas Leroy Cox

Tom was born July 6, 1959 in Carmi, IL. His parents were Fred Clifton and Wilma May (Thompkins) Cox.

He was a caring person who helped anyone who needed it. He loved to fish and run nets and enjoyed playing pool. He thoroughly enjoyed working and had an oilfield salvage business working with Lester Pritchett.

He is survived by 2 daughters; Pamela (Mike) Koons of Grayville, IL, Colleen Bell (and close friend Jason Koons) of Albion, IL, 3 sisters; Joyce (John) Thomas of Lansing, MI, Doris (Bill) Collins of Albion, IL, Wanda (Bob) Richardson of Princeton, IN, 2 brothers; Fred (Jeannette) Cox of New Harmony, IN, John (Cindy) Cox of Albion, IL, and 5 grandchildren. Also survived by his favorite nephew Terry Cox of Grayville, IL, and special friend Ted Williams of Grayville, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one niece; Nichole Kennedy, and one cousin; Mike Moutrey.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 2:00PM at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery at Grayville, IL with a dinner at Northside Baptist Church in Grayville for the family following the burial. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 1:00PM until time of service at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion.
