Sue A. Huff

Sue was born November 16, 1931 in Kilgore, TX. Her parents were Lyal and Vesta (Harris) Beattie. She married Dale Huff December 3, 1951 in Mt. Vernon, IL and he preceded her in death October 1, 2010.

Sue loved to read, enjoyed bowling, horse racing, traveling and camping. She was a member of the Albion First Baptist Church. She also worked for Johnnye Manufacturing Company for over 25 years, then worked for the family business, Huff Sealing Corporation until her retirement in 1992.

She is survived by 2 sons; Rob (Jennifer) Huff of Mt. Carmel, IL, Kent (Teresa) Huff of Albion, IL, sister; Sharon (Larry) Birch of Columbus, KS, 4 grandchildren; Kristen Palac, Eric Huff, Robbie Sloan, Lyal Huff, and 5 great-grandchildren; Emma, Ethan, Mya, Colton and Tyler.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Jerry Beattie, Speed Beattie, and Rick Beattie.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00am at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL. Pastor Kirk Rowe will officiate. Following the service, cremation rites will be accorded, with private inurnment of cremains at a later date at Bethel cemetery in Ellery, IL. Visitation will be Friday, 9:00am until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Albion Public Library or Albion First Baptist Church.
