Jan absolutely loved her family, her friends and her church family at the Transformation Church of God of Clay City; of which she was a member. She was a volunteer member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Clay County Hospital. Jan enjoyed time spent with her “gal pals” and she was always ready to try new adventures. Visiting and traveling with her sister was also a highlight. Reading was a passion of hers and learning new words to use in her every day vocabulary made her smile. She also loved her “lap companions”; which consisted of many pet puppies over the years.
In keeping with Jan’s wishes, her earthly body has been cremated and a memorial service to celebrate her life and her belief in Jesus Christ will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2PM in the afternoon at the Transformation Church of God, Highway 50, Clay City, IL.
Memorials may be made to her husband, Robert Harter.
