Preceded in death by Charles Matthews, Sr (father) and William Ingram (father), Willie Matthews (brother), Charles Short III (grandson), and Calen Short (grandson).

Loving husband of Denise for 35 years; Devoted father of Sha-Mira (Charles) Short Jr., Sha-Niqua Matthews, Sharde (Myron) Hatch; beloved son of Ella Ingram; brother of Stacia (Michael) Holmes, Charles (Latrese) Matthews, and Derrick Matthews.

Warren (Shirley) Ingram, Anthony (Carolyn) Ingram, Sharon (Fred) Reese, Marie Efford, Evelyn (Shun) Dean, Linda (Taj) Mahael, William J Ingram, Jerry Ingram, Ra’von Ingram, Tyriene, Tanajah, and l’shana Ingram, Anita Elston, William & Layene Elston, Justice Ingram and a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
