Stephanie Bankey

Stephanie was a graduate of Medina High School class of 1953. She moved to Cuyahoga Falls in 1958 and has been a resident of Copley since 1971. Stephanie attended Hammel Business College. She was a licensed Insurance Agent in the area for 13 years and former owner of the Butternut Tree Tea Room and Gift Shop. She was a Notary Public, a member of Copley VFW 7971, Ladies Auxiliary, the Copley Historical Society, and Copley Seniors.

The most important things in her life were her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

She is preceded by her father, James Ford, mother, Jean (Evans) Baruch, and daughter, Laura O’Leary (Dunn).

Stephanie is survived by sisters, Rebecca Patterson and Gail (Dale) Hartzel, son, Bryan Dunn, grandchildren, Sara (Fred) Johnson, Matt Fricke, Patrick (April) O’Leary, Rebecca Walker, Maggie (Andy) Simpson, Katherine (Tim) Shary, Lynae Dunn, Vincent (Krystin) O’Leary, and John Dunn, 10 great grandchildren, and countless friends and family members.

Friends and family may come to call on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio. Also on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
