Robert Lee Croye

Robert Lee Croye, age 88, passed away on October 12, 2023 in Columbus. He was born in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late B. Leroy and Pansy Holt Croye. He and his family moved to Akron in the late 1940’s.

Bob graduated from the University of Akron, where he was a member of The Pershing Rifles and The Scabbard and Blade. Bob went on to be an Educator for many years.

He is preceded in death by his first cousins: Alvyn W. Croye and Josephine Cox. Survived by second cousins Mark Croye and Steven Cox, with their families.

Graveside Service and Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 W Market Street in Akron 44333 on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 1:00PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the church he attended, Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street in Worthington 43085 on November 1, 2023 at 1:00PM. Pastor Betsy Rice officiating.
