He was born in Cleveland, OH on July 25, 1926 to the late Peter and the late Helen (nee: Joyce) Connelly. Survived by his wife Helyn (nee: Zarko), brother Terry (Eleanor), sisters Joyce Brown, Mary Ellen Argirakis, and Rita Taylor (John – deceased), nieces Barbara (Dave) Johns, Janet Matthews, and Judy (Jim) Seely, Very dear friend Erica (Ken) Moehring, and loyal companion ChiliDog.
Retired employee of Boilermakers Local 744, US Marine World Word II Veteran, lifetime member of the Medina County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Medina VFW # 5137, Medina Eagles #2117, and Richfield Amvets.
Crypt side Service will be Monday, June 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Rose Hill Burial Park 3653 W. Market St. Fairlawn, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Medina County SPCA, 245 S. Medina St, Medina, Ohio 44256.
