Nancy Ann Heston, at the age of 73, went to her Heavenly Home to be with Jesus, her Beloved Savior, on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Her passing was peaceful; her family all had opportunity to express their love to her.
Nancy was raised in Akron, Ohio along with her older brother Jim by their parents Eugene and Betty Heston. She is preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her brother Jim Heston. She is also survived by her cousin Fred (Diann) Kidder.
Nancy loved and married her High School sweetheart, Stephen Philip Allison, who preceded her in death.
Nancy loved her family. She was a proud mother of four children and grandmother to six grandsons:
Ashleigh (Brian) Leyo and their newborn son, Gavin Mark; Megan (Jeshua) Arlia and their sons, Jackson Steven and Anthony Samson; Halley Allison Lally and her sons Enoch Ezekiel and Gildor Nehemiah; Aaron (Sarah) Allison and their toddler Gideon Carter Stephen.
She supported her children in their passions and encouraged them to succeed.
Nancy graduated from Firestone High School. She was an avid swimmer who passed this passion on to her children. She envisioned and gifted an in-ground pool for her grandsons to learn to swim.
Nancy was a brilliant woman. She was a nurse, legal secretary, writer and so much more. She loved to read and learn.
Nancy loved children. She cared for children in her home and served in children’s ministry at church. She wrote an instructional book teaching children to read. She loved teaching children through scripture.
Nancy loved Jesus, He was more than her Savior. Jesus was her Beloved Husband and Best friend. She lived her life to be His hands and feet. She opened her heart, arms and home for those in need. Nancy had a heart for Jesus and a Love for people.
Nancy was a warrior, she fought a long battle against cancer. She has inspired her family and many who have witnessed her journey. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her strength and courage to never give up.
Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life service, Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at 12:30 PM, at Victory Life Church 3833 Hudson Dr
Stow, OH, 44224.
Fellowship beginning at 11:30 AM before the service. Family and friends are invited to a Luncheon following the service at 1:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall at Victory Life Church
