He was born on July 28, 1936 to August Orin Englebrecht and Bernice Royce in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Sandra (Dadlow) Englebrecht, daughter, Laura (David) Biats, son, Ron Englebrecht, two grandchildren, Nicholas (Katie) and Kari Endemann, great grandchildren, Josilynn, Jayden, Peyton, Adrian, and Kaliah, brothers, Roger (Barbara) Englebrecht, John (Vanessa) Englebrecht, and James Englebrecht.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Amy Beth Englebrecht, and brother, Orin Englebrecht.
Marvin was the most genuine, kind hearted man, and anyone who knew him knew how much he loved his family. He had a light inside him that radiated so bright, it could not only be seen, but felt. His positive attitude was contagious and his spirit could never be broken, despite any hardships he faced throughout his life. Marvin was a socialite who loved meeting and talking to everyone. His comical side brought so many smiles and laughter to those around him.
He was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns no matter how they were doing.
Friends and family may come to call on September 13, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 West Market Street. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
